INCEPTION
Why you're here. Why I'm here.
The art world held a vast dark shadow over my hopes and dreams for a long time. I once held the belief that the only avenue to an art career is via applied arts or an art gallery. And the only way to do that is to create really weird, strange and dark art.
THE RAW
But I've learned that galleries don't hold the final say and weird art is not the only art the world is looking for.
I have worked, and still work in the applied arts (ie. graphic design) but my true love for creating lies in what I like to call the 'raw experience' of creating fine art.
THE TRUTH
I also have learned that art not only holds the power to change the fundamental sense of self for the artist but it holds a great power to influence society by changing opinions, instilling values and translating experiences across space and time.
Therefore, we as artists hold a great commission to carry our unique message to the world via our art.
Those are the two fundamental reasons for the inception of Creativity School.
THE ONE
The human race is a vast category if you look at it from a 'differences' point of view. But when you look at who each of us really is....underneath the layers of experience and genes...we are one beautiful category of people, the same, made in the Image of God for love and relationship.
Each of us made with a unique set of ingredients that result in a message that only we, ourselves, can carry into the world.
SOME BACK STORY
This will allow creators to not only learn at their own pace but to learn even more as I will consistently add new content to grow the community of learners and teachers.
